Meals

Cornmill provides attractive, appetising and varied cuisine as well as catering for any individual tastes and preferences.

We have a wide choice of menu prepared by our chefs to a very high standard using only the most fresh market produce, meats, fish and poultry.

Our fruit and vegetables and delivered daily by Bradshaws, our local farm shop. We personally select our fish at Bolton fish market and our meat is supplied by Brown's the Butchers,a national award winning family butcher in Chorley.

Social Activities & Recreation

Social activities are arranged for most weekday afternoons. These are planned by our Social Activities Coordinator, either on an individual or group basis, for those who wish to participate.

Special emphasis is placed on providing recreational activities where residents are encouraged to pursue their own hobbies and interests. A variety of musical entertainments, physical activities, puzzles and quizzes, board games and crafts take place.

Seasonal activities include all the usual celebrations as well as many others. During the summer we have wine and cheese afternoons, barbeques, and visits from musicians and local artists in the fountain courtyard.

We always extend a welcome to our resident's families and friends to our social events.
